Trapped

Consciousness slowly blurs
My upper and lower eyelids begin to kiss
I struggle for a long while
And dream a dream, inside which
There is a flickering lamp
A warm bed
Yet another dream
And a distant place I've never reached

About the Poet: Tianya Caoxue, female, of Dong ethnicity, was born in 1983 into a farming family in Qiandongnan, Guizhou. She has loved poetry and literature since childhood.

《困》

意识逐渐模糊

上眼皮和下眼皮开始热吻

我挣扎了半响

做了个梦，梦里

有一盏或明或暗的灯

还有一张温暖的床

还有一个梦

和一个未曾抵达的远方
